I have heard that having inbound links with anchor text utilizing keywords is good for seo but how much of a factor are keywords in the Links Title text? You know, the text you see when your mouse pointer hovers over the link. Do they help Seo?

For sure it is essential! Look for every manual for seo-texts, links etc and you will find out that it is desirable to use tags ALT or TITLE for links.

The title attribute in links does not hurt (may help), and it DOES helps the visually impared (it's intention). So I would use them. It's just good practice.

Would you say ALT or TITLE for links is more important than image tags?

Can you go too far? Say, for instance, I have about 30 links on my page, mostly internal, would it hurt me if I put keywords in EVERY link title? The reason I ask is I paid someone to SEO my index page and I noticed that nearly every link had been given titles that contained my main keyword phrase.

Also with your inbound links you need variations of your URL not just keywords. Google likes that as well.

    like yourdomain dot com
    www dot yourdomain dot com
    yourdomain
    etc.

Can anyone answer my question about how much use of keywords in link titles is too much or can you safely go nutz with it?
