South Africa & Paypal

    Recently I needed to refund a payment from a south africa buyer through paypal, and to my surprise I could not refund the money. They can send money but cannot receive it. How am I gonna refund it? It's probably because of the fraud rate...?

    when u got that money ? if it is 60days old then it will be gone.

    well yes, the refund option is not visible anymore so I guess its been over 60 days...

    Yes, it is bcoz the transaction is 60 days older. You have to send money via Send money option now.

    South Africa is a send only country- you cannot receive money in your South African PayPal account.

    One of the easiest way to refund such money is to ask the person to create alertpay account. Then use any of the alertpay exchangers to send money from your paypal to the person's alertpay account
