    Needs to have root access;
    atleast 500GB disk space;
    atleast 2GB RAM;
    atleast a 100mbit dedicated line (not a shared one, so I would get 11mB/s ALWAYS when I need them, not just at times when I can get them), 1Gbit would be gr8
    And unmetered traffic would be great, but not less than 5TB if it`s from OVH, from others atleast 10TB.

    You can offer me a good deal with 1Gbit line or offer something better than this what im using right now:

    Processor type Core2Duo 2 x 2.33+ GHz
    Memory RAM 2GB DDR2
    Hard disk 2 x 500GB SATA2 RAID0/1
    Connection 100Mbps
    Bandwidth PREMIUM unlimited**
    Setup fee free
    IRC, Torrents yes
    root access yes
    IP addresses 1 + 3 failover
    FTP backup 100GB
    Price per month 75 €

    It can even be a VPS if it has all the requirements (More ram than CPU is needed, let`s say you can offer 4gb ram and 1.2ghz cpu - it`s ok)

    Interested in servers that have good speed to Europe not US

    If the server you said above for 75 Euros is one you can get or currently have then I don't think your going to find much better for that price, specially Including two Hard Drive's in a Raid setup.

    Raid is not priority.

    @ServerPoint, before I made this topic I saw already few in this forum category asking almost the same thing.

    I'd agree with you, however I really think that the fault lies with the board not the poster in many of these cases. I've noted this before, but perhaps have not been able to properly articulate what I mean.

    When you are in "Digital Point Forums > Design & Development > Site & Server Administration" if you hit the "New Thread" button as you can see below, the next screen asks you if you "Believe WEB HOSTING is the BEST section for this topic".

    It does not ask you if "SITE & SERVER ADMINISTRATION" is the best place. It flat out states "WEB HOSTING".

    The images below illustrate:

    Obviously this is not the "BST" (buy sell trade) section, but it's also not the "Web Hosting" section entirely either.

    I think I can see where the confusion is with so many that post "Web Hosting" related questions, offers, where to buy, or want to buy , etc. threads in an area that is clearly supposed to be for a more TECHNICAL discussion.

    Look at the description of "New Thread in Web Hosting" in the above image. It specifically states "For everything regarding web hosting and web hosting companies."

    I realize it also clearly indicates that offers should be placed in the appropriate forum, not here. But the check box option kinda contradicts what its' saying, as well as what the Sub Cat of "SITE & SERVER ADMINISTRATION" would suggest.

    I think if the check box said "I believe SITE & SERVER..." instead, it might be a bit clearer for those that breeze over all the other directions.

    The only reason I mention this is because its a constant problem here.
