LOL the funny part is that it seems like I have never had any problems with Vista.

So I believe that with any operating system it depends on certain user experience or if you are trying to install something specific.

Why? The only people on here saying that windows 7 is bad are the people wh have 1 post and have registered in the last week ... they know nothing about computers.

I still choose XP. I can't stand the new operating systems.

Ya, that's too bad. 2 bad versions of Windows in a row. =( I didn't like Vista and I tried 7 on a friends new computer the other day and I don't like it at all. I don't know all the main specs an capabilities but using it I didn't like it.

I purchased my Toshiba Laptop 6 months after Vista came out and love it, purchased a new desktop last Feburary and love it. Then I maxed out the ram in both when purchased. I usually have 6 -8 tabs open most of the time, and other programs open, like word, excel, outlook all the time.
I use win7 at my job and found it to be user friendly, and faster.

Maybe your specifications are too slow?

I used to love Windows XP and when I migrated to windows 7, I used to have a similar opinion about the new OS. Now, I've been using Windows 7 for months and feel weird when I work on windows XP.

No its not. XP uses much less resources that Win 7 and runs very fast compared to any new os MicroSoft has released lately. All the new os are resource hogs.
