Um, first of all, I don't know why you are citing this article. It has absolutely nothing to do with the present discussion, period. What is your intention here?

Second, the article you cited is from May 2002. So, when it article says "Today", it really means almost eight years ago.

Third, the website you cited, "corpwatch.org", seems to be a tad one-sided to me. Don't get me wrong - I do not like Cheney. He destroyed my Long Island economy when he canceled the Grumman F-14 only because he had a personal grudge against Grumman's management and the Long Island economy never recovered.

Fourth, what exactly is your point? Honestly, I don't know what you are trying to prove. If it's about Haliburton, you need to blame the Democrats. The Democrats under Bush I awarded the military services contract to Haliburton. When Clinton & the Democrats slashed the military budget, the Democrats awarded massive military service contracts for the cut services to Haliburton while Cheney was in charge. The overseas oil contracts that Haliburton worked with were done with the approval of the Clinton administration.

Honestly, gworld, WTF is your point anyway???

    Oh, for cryin' out LOUD!!!

The source is the Wikipedia article you cited!!! Geez, DubDubDubDot, do you even BOTHER to READ the articles you cite??? This is so sad it isn't funny!!!

As you exactly wrote, the Wikipedia article you cited has links by year that "lists terror attacks year by year with specifics of each incident"

Did you even BOTHER to look at the links at the bottom of the Wiki article you cited listing attacks by year? How many of them were a lone bomber that took out three or four people?

DubDubDubDot, honestly, try to get curious and look deeply into these things, O.K.? I used your own cite against you! Do you have any idea how silly this makes you look? :p

His point is, he does not have a point. He's here to instigate and attack. Nothing more, nothing less. His contributions to this community have been nothing short of childish and immature.

    Nice try.

Let's see a site that lists what you consider to be legit terror attacks year by year, and only such attacks. Then we will see if the numbers are down since Saddam was taken out.

I barely believe Wikipedia to give me correct information on celebrities...why would I want to believe them about our government and terrorism?

Wow... what a very specific demand, huh?

DubDubDubDot is completely incapable of explaining his own reference, right?

And he is demanding a list terror attacks by year? And only differentiate actual attacks? That's a very specific demand, don't you think?

    I just realized something...

DubDubDubDot has brought so little of any substance to this discussion that it look more like he is a high school student trying to bait us to do his term paper for him!

DubDubDubDot, do your own homework, or get an 'F'. We won't do it for you here.

Fellow Dp'ers, I suggest that we stop helping DubDubDubDot. If he can't figure these SIMPLE things out himself, he deserves to fail.

Wiki has the attacks listed, but you apparently do not consider all of them to be legitimate terrorism.

So again, I am asking you for a year by year list of what you consider to be legitimate terrorist attacks to back up your statement that attacks have gone down since Saddam was taken out. You can't call me out without backing up your statement with something.

I'd be willing to bet a million bucks that you've spent some time trying to find a list that backs up your theory, but you have failed to find it. So you came back with the stupid replies.

Many of the wealthy are already buying gold or buying foreclosured properties in the hard hit areas in batches of 50+.

You need to look at recent history. The situation that we are now in is more like the "Jimmy Carter" stagflation period between 1977-1979. Basically the US spent itself out of the 1973-1975 recession and money supply increased 129% at the time. There was some growth but by 1980 interest rates were double digit and the US entered into a double-dip recession that was far worse than the recession today.

In 1979 the price of gold was $1000 and the DOW was $1000. Don't think that the DOW can't decline to 5k. It's more than possible.

    Look at the facts:

    1. The Labor Department said the number or workers seeking unemployment benefits for the first time rose by 31,000 to a seasonally adjusted 473,000 last week.

    2. Wholesale prices rose 1.4 percent last month, double what economists had forecast. Rising energy prices helped push prices sharply higher.

    3. The Producer Price Index rose 0.3 percent even excluding volatile energy and food prices. Economists forecast the "core" rate would rise just 0.1 percent last month.

The traders will always make money. It doesn't matter of the market goes up or down. They make the money of volatility.

Ok, the numbers are backing up a little - the 1.4 wholesale price is what everyone is watching out for, but not all is bad for some inflation - to cool the already purchased debt owed foreign ivestors....the market typically is 6 months ahead of the numbers and the recent (anticipated) pullback already digested these statistics without shock and is "holding" for the next.....The leading indicators reflect the present and remained positive.

DubDub, THIS was my original question:
Do you think Saddam Hussein was funding terrorism?
    Do you?
That's an early post in this thread that made you wet your pants before you decided to run screaming and crying.

    YOU responded with this link:
All my questions have been about this Wikipedia link. YOUR link. You responded with more static than a radio. You can't explain your own link.

Your hypocrisy is ridiculous. You hide your head from any question you don't like, and then make constant demands that I explain your own link to you?

The question, that has gotten you all tied up in knots, is this:
Do you think Saddam Hussein was funding terrorism?

But then... that question isn't part of your silly high school homework, is it?

Do you think Saddam Hussein was funding terrorism?
    It's my ORIGINAL question.

You got called out, exposed and now you are just playing baby games.
Next time don't spew drivel that you can't back up with something.

You didn't ask a question, you CLAIMED that Saddam was responsible for terrorist attacks which is a total BS that only a brain dead still believes after all the Bush administration lies has been exposed.

Do you think Saddam Hussein was funding terrorism?
That sentence pretty much looks like a question to me.

That sentence might looks like something else to someone who failed high school English.

    Or someone who can't recognize a question-mark.

Corwin - the conservatives are consumed in terrorism as sustenance for their logic as though anyone should really care....than the underlying truth for answers.
