Yes, im another user who is here to vent some steam regarding Clickbank.

When i have sent several thousand targeted clicks to my referral links - NO LEADS, NO SALES.

What a BIG LOAD OF SOMETHINGISHOULDN'TSAYHERE.

Also, i did a test - I got a friend to purchase a product via my clickbank referral URL - Did i get commission? NO.

My opinion is that Clickbank is a big scam.

When you sent your friend the link, are you sure that it was the correct link? Did you have him check on the order page at the bottom where it says [affiliate = your nickname]? That's the only other reason I could think of that your commission didn't show up aside from a tracking issue which I don't doubt.

There are always a lot of complaints about CB's tracking issues and I do think they are real. I've had conversions show up in my adwords account many times and then I have no commission in my CB account.

I don't believe that B.S about "Adwords sometimes displays conversions incorrectly" like I've heard several times. The only way for that conversion to show up is if the pixel fires on the Thank You page and the only way for someone to reach that page is if they bought the product.

If you're going to make a statement like that, then post proof of wrongdoing.

I understand what you guys are saying about proof. Obviously proof is needed. However, I too have not had sales for many products in about 5 days. I receive about the same amount of hops every day which typically generates about 10-15 sales, which is always VERY consistent. Now, suddenly, NOTHING. Fortunately I am on other networks with reliable tracking. Just another reason to diversify.

I think you need to work not just harder, but smarter, my friend. I just made $1600 so far this month through ClickBank.

All last year, the most I made was $350 in a single month. But I stuck to it and learned how to do it right.

I'm still learning. It's a process and you need to be in it for the long term. Clickbank isn't some magic money making scheme.

For more details about my results, check out this post of mine: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1692497

LOL...I agree with you.... it seems like the op is kind of a newb!

However, I am not a newb! Believe me clickbank has major issues at times. I was just looking at some of my old adwords campaigns and studying some of my competition for keywords that i've been bidding on for 1-2 years, and some major players have disappeared completely and the bids for those keywords are at an all time low which tells me that the op is not alone in not making any sales. Also, before anyone says something stupid like check your links or maybe the niche has dried up, Keep in mind that I'm bidding on keywords accross 6 different niches that convert historically at 1 in 20 clicks. My conversion used to be much higher until the last 6 months or so. Now, I have shut them all down and only run a test here and there to see if anything has been fixed yet at clickbank. Everytime I run a test and I mean everytime!!!!! I get sales right away and consistantly for about 2 days totaling 200-300 dollars. Then suddenly i will go to 00000000000 for the next 2 days so i shut it off again. Something is clearly wrong and only the clickbank workers who troll this forum will tell you otherwise. I really don't care if anyone wants to argue this. I know what I know and to the OP... trust your gut...when it comes to money there's a high probability that you will be scammed at some point. My best advice to the op and to all others who wish to do affiliate marketing is... Don't!!!!! Make your own products and sell them!!! If you look at most of these procucts on clickbank they can easily be modeled. Why trust anyone to track your commissions and hard work?? Set up Paypal and get all the money yourself!!!!!

I tend not to believe in conspiracy theories. Clickbank works and has been working for over 10 years.

Solid point. After all, no one can prove it, can they? I don't think this is a "conspiracy theory" at all, especially when people like me are doing a fair amount of sales on a daily basis for months, even years, and then for a week ZERO sales come in with the same number of hops.

And if you were to ask any vendor who does a good volume of sales on a daily basis, they sure as hell get non-affiliate sales every day despite them not doing ANY promotion. Sure, you can argue that it's possible to get organic sales, and it is, but I've been told by vendor friends that they get abnormal amounts of non-affiliate sales EVERY DAY. Of course, no one in their right mind is going to come out and tell anyone this. It's money in their pocket. Why would they?

The good news is that are many other solid networks out there with exceptional tracking systems. It's absolutely disgusting that CB has not implemented many layers of tracking. Yeah, we need master accounts and better vendor testing over upgraded tracking. It doesn't make any sense.

Many of you want to believe that CB can be trusted, but didn't we trust every other big corporation in America? Look what they did to us. Of course, CB is a different kind of business, and many would argue that they have NO REASON to do anything shady, but none of us really know what goes on in behind closed doors. Everything is always far more complicated and sophisticated that one thinks. Someone is always going to try to manipulate and abuse ANY SYSTEM to pad their wallet.

You don't think there may be someone at CB saying "Couldn't we do this ? How would anyone prove it? They can't! We can make millions in just a few days. It's impossible to prove! After all, no one ever takes those complaints and/or suspicions seriously on the forums."

No matter how trusted any company is, not every employee is going to have a solid moral compass. There is always someone with the knowledge to exploit any system.

The question is: Why hasn't CB upgraded their tracking system when there are networks that do a fraction of the volume who have several layers of phenomenal tracking? The resources are there. We know they are. It makes no sense.

Good points here. Over the past few years, CB has actually implemented many features to improve their tracking.

CB is a large business with hundreds of thousands of products. They can't fix everything at once.

I think they're doing the best they can.

Sometimes that is the case yes, but I've seen many experienced marketers say that have been making steady sales for a long time and then all of a sudden their sales dry up and they still get the same traffic, hops, etc. and they changed nothing. One example is onlinemoniez right here in this thread.

I know some days are going to be worse than others, but if you have consistent sales for months like onlinemoniez and many others have mentioned, the chances of having multiple $0 days just seem really odd.

Yes there are a lot of noobs who complain about CB because they are doing something wrong, but a majority of the threads that I've been seeing recently are more experienced people saying there is something going on.

As someone else mentioned, there are some people at CB that might not care. A lot of you say they have no reason TO shave sales or do anything shady, but they also have no reason NOT to shave sales or fix their tracking issue because look, nobody believes that CB is doing anything wrong and "it's always the other person's fault."

We all really have no idea what goes on behind the doors of CB. Even if it's nothing deliberate that they are doing, I think everyone can agree that there are tracking issues that need to be fixed.

And like another poster said, someone that is having these issues should make a video and post it so everyone can see. Have a friend or even buy a product through your own link and see if you get the commission. I think that will once and for all settle this whole debate.

    hey
i know your frustration but you need to bring good quality traffic for getting sales, if you bring traffic from ptc, it will be of no use.
i got 1000 clicks but no sale yet because most traffic is from ptc.
and i don't think it is a scam, i know many people who are earning good money from this program.
