Is there some bonus to be had by misspelling words in Google ads? I've seen quite a few today. Putting myself in the place of the surfer with a healthy disposable income - would I be interested in such an advertiser's products or services? NO WAY! Am I missing the point though? The best misspelling I've seen in a Google Ad today is Luxuary for Luxury
I didn't think about that angle - deb = bed and would be cheaper than bed but could be a misspelling of debt - good for deb collection
> Maybe its a trick to lure dyslexic people. Dyslexics of the world, untie! Seriously, I'm with you in that I don't put too much confidence in an ad with poor spelling or grammar.
I could only imagine that by putting the mis-spelt keyword in the ad it will improve QS. Also, bear in mind the person doing the searching may honestly think thats the real spelling so the ad will look completely relevant.
I can only imagine yet another thicko - but I have been in a very bad mood... Ask a flippant question and I get answers on DP - ask a serious question about something that's a real concern and not a tickle - not even someone answering with some irrelevant plop or even saying "my question exactly" - told you I was in a bad mood... Ignore the above. Really thanks for your comment - adwords based on misspelled keywords must be cheaper than the real thing...
