No I don't think so. I was always doing Classified Submission for my Clients sites it always helps me to gain popularity.
Yes!!! One of my site that was used in free classified ads lost its PR. So be careful with those sites. If you want to promote any product including clickbank, free classified ads are perfect fit.

Most of the classified directories not providing us option to include or link. So submitting in 1000 classified directories will not increase the rank. Yes you can sell your products using classified directories like craigslist, olx, etc.

That's right. This is the problem with classified sites that they allow ad only for limited time, that is for few weeks only.
It will help with your site popularity , but some of the Ad's do 'no follow' (like Craigslist) So overall the answer is YES.
i do not feel that classifieds are a great medium for link building.There are many more organic techniques for link building which can be used to boost your links and rankings in the search engines
