As I make my living from my own websites and keeping those of my clients at the top of the search engines - I'd rather promote your view that it doesn't help!

Hello, I think VPS will be better for you ..as its TV show you might require FFMPEG server. you can check out http://www.infrenion.com in that case.
For tv show sites you can host on lacehost because they are quite cheap and support is also good. But not sure they allow movie linking sites
