There is still so much of uncertainty surrounding its transactions, to call it a perfect alternative. Some easily go through while some just hang about ending in cancellations... with no clue whatsoever!

There was so much certainty about paypal's withdrawal and we never worried about money reaching us... on time!

RightMan, that's very true. Though the exchange rates were a bit low, they were strong and we could believe that the money will be certainly in our bank. But here I could see that many guys got cancellations with Xoom, without knowing proper reasons.

 

nopes mate... xoom is yet not perfect alternative.. i would like to have it just as the stop-gap option..

xoom often lacks uniformity and cancels one's transaction without any valid reason to offer.. this is not done.. for many it takes more than 100 hours while some get it in the bank within 12 hours.. again i read some where, they have a limit of 12 transctions in a financial year.. definitely, a hindrance to be the perfect alternative..

but still the positive is that we can get the funds at the bank account!

Nothing will compensate PP , but for the time sake we need to do with some alternatives . I got my money with Xoom . After 3 weeks now i am happy

 

i have very important questions about using xoom by means of transferring funds from paypal.

• Is it legal to use xoom to transfer paypal money from indian point of view?
• Does xoom allow intra-india transfer - sender and receiver are same?
• Will paypal limit account, if we use xoom?

I am always a kind of person, who is worried about these things. Just want to hear out your thoughts!

Don't worry Guys,everyone here would get there money at time,so no worry.

 

Got two of my xoom transfer in bank and both were check deposit. Total 6 days taken although i would omit 2 days for weekends.

 

hey I got the funds' cheque in uncleared state in my bank Yippeee hope will see it reflect in my net balance by tomorrow evening

 

I made a withdraw through xoom to my bank account (ICICI) in my pay pal account but still amount not credited ....

guys take care of the transactions you do....only 12 xoom transactions are allowed in a financial year:-( paypal needs to be back asap
