Yes that is one option! I'll tell ya what, that's more likely to work than the standard idea of buying lots of domains and setting up parked pages on them. Not much work involved there, but if making money was that easy, everyone would have done it already.
In domaining, you need to learn about niches, about backlinking, about long tailed keyword and plenty of more things. The domains in demand, those not n demand etc. Main thing is not buying in bulk, it is knowing what you are buying that counts...
