There is something I don’t quite understand. Why do a lot of people submit hundreds and hundreds of articles to for example ezine? Why not just write one good one for each of the keywords you are trying to target and try to get it to #1 position? Won’t all the other articles be almost pointless since they will be at the bottom of the bag? Also, if you have lets say 5 links under the same domain (ex.ezine), will you get 5 backlinks or just one backlink per domain? If you get 5, the only beneficial thing I see is 5 extra backlinks. I don’t think people will read articles that are at the bottom of the back when even looking around in ezine.
different article = more keyword phrases covered you cant stuff 100 long tail keyphrases in 1 article, it will look silly
sstill... more articles with more keywords coverd... like how many keywords are you targeting... hundreds???? thats alot of keywords that you have found that seem resonable to rank for. so people find hundreds of keywords that they could essentialy rank for? for me, for this one project i was only able to find like 28 longtail keywords that I could essentially rank for in a decent amount of time and then the est are like.. .something that would take months and months and months to rank for. so people that have huge keyword lists consist of low comp and hi comp. i'm assuming.. right?
I suppose you are right. I started posting articles with high quantity of keywords.. What it brought me? Nothing people just didnt care it. Then, I started to write focusing in it with decent keyword quantity,What it broght me? Targeted audience, looking forward to read and explore and share.Because what people ( Who are looking for real information) want is to find exact information which is related to exact keyword
cheece2001......I have come across writers who submit to article directories sometimes on their clients behalf...they are not necessarily trying to target keywords for themselves but its work that has been outsourced...so you may find a long list of articles under one account
That could be it yes. Also, maybe it's spread across a lot of different markets. I can usually find like 20 good keywords per market that I think I can rank for and then I move onto another market and find new keywords.
What other methods are you using apart from Article marketing? And by ranking i assume you mean page 1 of the results.
well... i'm using w.e,.. like video marketing. I mostly just try to get content on a bunch of different web 2.0 sites and try to rank that in google
Maybe they just want to increase the number of backlinks. I suppose it all boils down to the goal you want, whether you want traffic or backlinks. If I want backlinks, then 1000 articles will generate 1000 backlinks to my site. Assuming that some articles are downloaded numerous times, the number of backlinks can range from 1000 to 10,000. If I want traffic, then a few long articles with targeted keywords will do.
My personal take on this is that almost no-one reads articles from article directories. There are easier ways to find info on the web. However people who want to write their own articles often paraphrase articles from article directories to create what they consider to be unique content. I think this is unethical but I know of folks who do it. People submit hundreds of articles mainly to get backlinks. How effective this is? Depends on who you ask . .
high density of keywords means higher ranking of the page in search engines. thats what is important i guess.
how will this build 1000s of backlinks. If you posted 1000 articles on ezine... won't that count as 1 backlinks since its coming from 1 domain? or.... the 1000 backlinks are counted except you don't get more link juice from that one domain.. jsut one time... right????? witch one is it
