twitter dont give trffic, about 16+ visitors visit the link when it is posted and 95% of these visitors are bots.
I personally find twitter to be the dumbest waste of time to earn traffic-- and unless you have something like Hummingbird, or FlashTweet, then it's useless. I remember when Flashtweet was free, I amassed like 3000 followers that were in my niche, and whenever I posted my blog out there, it would easily get 200 views, but none were dedicated. It was all tweet-based, and it certainly wasn't giving me any valuable backlinks. I ended up selling the twitter, and it's been idle since the purchase (except for a couple more thousand followers and then many less followers then originally followed). I wouldn't count on twitter by any means of traffic, and rather you should go with the traditional way of building backlinks etc.
It is some sort of micro-blogging service that allows users to send a little 140-character messages out to “followers†and exchanging bits and pieces of information and potentially exposing that conversation to the larger grid.So Our traffic is increase step by step format.
I'm starting to wonder if I am just wasting my time with twitter I have around 800 followers and I have only received a few visits to my site, no sales. It seems everyone is just there to promote what they are doing or try and get you to join there program ect. I give up when it comes to twitter.
I usually get 10-30 visits a day from one update with about 3100 friends,Not many but I'm sure if you get 30,000 friends it will increase to 100-300 a day.
Twitter brings me anywhere from 500-1000 uniques per day, depending on how many people are retweeting or talking about things. I've had days where I had 5000+ just from twitter.
Its , very hard to get visitors from twitter! If you have made followers by following them then it's almost impossible that they will click on the link you posted as they are also busy posting links and getting followers. Twitter is good only if you get legitimate followers who follow you to get updates from your sites.
I'm only getting about 6 visitors a week from Twitter. I'll probably stop posting on Twitter as other methods bring me more traffic. Having said that, the amount of visitors you get depends on your topic, the quality of your posts, how often you post, how many followers you have, etc
Google shows latest tweets in its organic search results..And from that point of view and secondly if our followers found our post to be useful then we can have a lot of traffic from twitter...
I have a considerable follower at twitter yet I don't have much luck on traffic. I'm doing better at FB.
You have a million followers, but if they aren't interested in what you post, it's going to do you no good. The best method is to post interesting things, and don't try to push too many links on everyone, especially to your own stuff. A few rules: 1. Appear as natural and human as possible 2. Post interesting content 3. Don't post too many links 4. Keep your posts relevant to a niche And you'll do a lot better. All the automated follower adders in the world wont help if you don't follow those basic rules.
It's one of those things where you get what you put into it.. But when you look at it, you could probably spend that time on other things that would ultimately prove more useful in the long run.
I'm just starting with Twitter but my friend statuses are displayed in Google as a tree navigation below her Twitter home link
I see some top affiliates using twitter. I think they could completely cut it out of their marketing plan and strategies if it wasn't worth their time. I've seen traffic from twitter. If you can automate how you post on twitter and also provide quality content then it's worth your time Here is a quick blog post of some twitter tools. http://www.gamingaffiliatesguide.com/online-marketing/twitter-tools/
