Adsense approval gets tougher

Here is something which may make you upset.Google has made their policies for adsense account approval tougher as comapared to what it was earlier.
What exactly has made it tougher?

1.Your site must be on a TLD (Top Level Domain): No more blogspots/wordpress blogs.Google wants you to buy a domain for your site. This might be a shock for those who have some cool blogspot/wordpress blogs .They won’t be able to apply for adsense account with such sites.

2.The domain must be atleast 6 months old: Just having a domain name won’t help as Google wants it to be active for last 6 months.
A lots of bloggers have complained about this policy change by Google.

1.One reason behind this might be to reduce the load on their approval system.
2.It is also being said that majority of the adsense account disabled are related with blogspot blogs.
Though the blogspot blogs won’t be allowed for adsense account request, it is allowed to put adsense ads on them. That means if you already have adsense account or you got one for a site at TLD, you can still implement the adsense ads on your other sites (including blogspots/wordpress blogs) .
One thing which all must understand is that adsense account is not a right, but a privilage. One must take adsense as a business and hence should be prepared to spend a few bucks for it.
This strict step may increase the overall performance in terms of quality of ads, eCPM and number of advertisers.

You are wrong. You don't need an own domain and it doesn't have to be 6 months old.
For some areas in the world, maybe, but generally anyone with good intentions, original content and just a quality site.

Where can we find the official announcement for this?

I don't think google would cut out sites like blogspot etc, I mean look at people who regularly create blogs on there. It can drive a lot of traffic to google ads. I think for any website a TLD is preferable, but it's never a necessity. After all, the saying goes "Content is King"

Google will not cut Ads at blogspots/wordpress blogs but you won't able to apply for adsense program and you will be rejected if you use these sites.

    This part sounds disturbing:
"It is also being said that majority of the adsense account disabled are related with blogspot blogs."
What is your source for this info?

Never heard this before. Even if it's true you only need one Adsense account. So this would only pertain to someone who just started.

This can be possible that they might not approve blogspot blogs for starters as many people get approved very fast using their blogspot blogs. One of my friends also got approved in just two days using blogspot blog.
