Do you comment on those articles in Ezinearticles? Is there any benefit of making comments?

Actually I am referring to commenting on the ezine article itself. I am quite surprised to see that Ezine allows article commenting (with moderation), yet there is hardly any comment.
I have submitted one comment, pending moderation. It's funny that I need to key in information such as Name, Email, URL, Title for commenting. I wonder why there is a need to type in Title for a simple comment.

Are the comments dofollow? If yes, then they sure have value!

Hi Apeee, that's the problem. I can't even find a single article with comment on it to check if commenting is dofollow or not. When i make a comment, the comment box opens in a new page. Plus the comment moderation takes "a few working days" as stated.

At the top of every article, you will see a "View Summary" and "Comment" links. Click on the comment link to add a comment.
I made a comment just now, and after clicking "submit", this wonderful message appeared,
"Your comment is awaiting moderation by our EzineArticles.com Comment Management Team and you will receive an email once it is approved. Comments are normally reviewed within a few business days."

Ezine is for perfect quality. They would not give you a link as such. Even if they allow links, i am sure this would be no follow.

I think it's a new feature too. And I think they take the "few business days" very seriously. It's been 2 working days since my first comment, and I have not received any reply yet. They jolly well give a dofollow comment, since they are deadly serious about moderating.

You know that ezine will kill any spam immediately. In all likeliness it will be nofollow and with the snail pace that ezine works at it may take forever to get it approved.

Ezinearticles is a very useful tool for link building. Nevertheless, even though you submit your articles (and have a hyperlink, etc) they will put the Nofollow html property in them.

Also check for goaricles.com and articlebase.com; these are some of other article web based tools I use for link building.

    Hope you find this useful,

Yes, commenting on article directories which are highly popular are best place to post your comments. They gets huge traffic and views and this is how you can get some fraction of that traffic to your website.

Comments on EZA are HEAVILY moderated as it is a 2 step process, to start EZA moderates the comment and after that the writer can remove it at any time.

One thing I have found is that articles that receive comments typically get a dramatic raise in the PR. Just an FYI if you're willing to give it a try.
