I would stay away from these "twitterfollowers" sites, they are generally a scam and will post tweets from your account without you knowing about it. Here is a good starter list of twitter tools that I've messed around with.

I use ping.fm which is a nice tool to post to twitter and many other social networks.

 

You can use AutoTweeter , which can send automated tweet messages and DM's . it is a desktop application.

Thanks to all responders, I don't want to use any auto twitter, but I want to sort out the people whom I am following but they are not following me and vice versa.

 

go to www.huitter.com - u can mass follow all who are following you and you can unfollow all who dont follow you back - all in 5 minutes!

 

Hummingbird looks good but isn't free.

lots of twitter tools are available , would depend on what be yior specific requirement.

 

Depending on what you're looking for, there are a lot of great tools out there. The best one, in my opinion is TweetLater. There are a lot of great tools on that site.


Also localtweeps is great for finding followers near you.
