I am not getting much traffic. Is my TECH blog lacking something?

You blog is outstanding looking, but you also need to be doing article writing, forum posting, directory submissions, blog commenting, social bookmarking, social networking.

Have you tried asking other blogs and websites in your niche whether they could feature your blog?It means more exposure.

 

Great website. You can tell you really took the time to bring it together and build something that is very appealing to the eye. Let's check out a couple things.

1. It's new so you can't get traffic that quick, have patience and don't give up.

2. Blog on other sites that are similar.

3. Continue to network your articles. How many sites do you submit it to?

4. Run a contest. Possibly have it so when they sign up for your rss feed they are entered.

5. Focus on niche forums.

6. Use your name or nickname. Maybe I am blind but I don't see it on your site. I think it may help you out as people become comfortable to your name. They as well may want to link to you.

Wow, honestly, your blog looks better than some of the most trafficed social network blogs.
Chris above me says a lot of great suggestions. Why not try to create an e-book?

 

I am using my name in the posts. maybe it appears too small, so i am thinking to include a "About the Author" area after my exams are over

yeah i know many of the tech blogs look very ugly. the only factor that drives much traffic to them is because they are very old.

i am trying to make the design even more simpler and easier to read and navigate.

By the way, on what should i create an eBook ?

 

How much are you making through AdSense? Your alexa rank at 400k isn't bad, really! I like the layout and think you should just keep working on posting good quality articles. The S part of your logo looks very low quality, with choppy edges; especially when that's the first thing I saw, that can't be good for potential readers.

Do you have any tips for my blog (www.thetechnicaltimes.com), I'm struggling to move from 4million alexa rank.

 

I am almost earning nothing right now with Adsense. I know my placements are very bad. But my exams are going on and will place them correctly after the xams get over.

Uhmm and i am currently working on the logo. But i don't know how to make it look good as i am not pretty good in graphics.

And my blog has entered the top 3Lakh Club. Hope it will get into the top 100K till next month

OH YES, TRY TO BE THE FIRST TO REPORT NEW STUFFS. Like i posted about Google Buzz just after 2 hours it was launched so got much organic traffic

You got a great blog goin on... and startin to get some good traffic to it and everything... (not sure if you have other projects goin on or not) but... just a question here... besides adsense... how will your blog make you money? I've heard that people can make good money with blogs... but what avenues are you going to implement to make money from your blog? Affiliate links? Or Products? Or something other rather??

Your blog looks neat and nice, good job with it. Just get more backlinks and time will come you'll rank ins SEs and get a lot of traffic.

seems like i will have to create a poll and ask everyone =)

btw, i am not planning about any other income source except adsense.. Maybe in the future i will think on it.
