Has anyone ever experienced sickness related issues when having new wisdom teeth come through? I'm 21 in 2 months any my second wisdom tooth is starting to come through and I keep randomly getting extreme mirgraines and feeling nauseas but never actually being sick.. How painful is it to get them taken out??
I had all 4 of mine taken out at once when I was in high school years and years ago. I was given valium and obviously they freeze your mouth, I felt no pain actually I kinda laughed at one point. I looked like a blowfish for about a week, and couldn't eat very many solids, but it was worth it in the end. If it's causing you pain now, I would definitely get it looked after to avoid more discomfort.
Oh man, the pain was horrible. This is the funny thing though, My low right tooth came out and it hurt like hell for about a month. After it was done, 2 other wisdom teeth came out and I did not feel anything when they did.
I just had mine x-rayed and they're unfortunately coming in perpendicular to my other teeth...so that's no good. I'm just waiting for the pain to begin!
Not painful at all, although everyones pain tolerance is different. I didn't need any meds after having them removed.
What are the symptoms they are below hope this helps you man. * Pain and tenderness in the gums and jaw; * Headaches; * Swelling or redness in the gums; * An unpleasant taste in the mouth when you bite in the area of the wisdom teeth; * Bad breath; * In more rare cases, symptoms include swollen glands in the neck or problems opening your mouth.
freeze your mouth with what? i talked to my sister a little while ago and said her daughter who had all 4 yanked looked like a chipmunk.so i guess there are side affects. they say the younger you are to have them yanked the better. they won't hurt a bit getting them taken out.afterwords, they'll be a little tender. i'm almost 40 and still have all 4 of my wisdom teeth.they have been saying for years i should have them taken out. when i was younger i had that symptom.
Yep... ---- When I was about 19, my wisdom teeth used to give me headaches and migraines (after having about $5K of ortho work done) ... my orthodontist recommended that I have my wisdom teeth surgically removed. But... by that time, I was starting to twig to the dentist/ortho shuffle, so I told my ortho that I'd rather "wait and see". I'm now 34, and I've still got all 4, and they haven't given me ANY problems at all. Dentists and orthodontists (<especially) are guessing (at best). Once you have teeth removed, you can't put them back! They're not called wisdom teeth for nothing Leave the fuckers in. ----------
I'm going to see my dentist about mine on friday. Hoping I can get them out as they are painful and feel to me like they are coming in on a funny angle which I guess could be explained by the fact in the past I have been told I had a crowded jaw.
Right now I'm thriving in pain too. I'm 23 now and I've got one impacted wisdom tooth left. I normally take antibiotics and mefenamic acid (pain reliever) to hold off the pain temporarily. Tomorrow I will see my dentist again for the first time in three years when my left lower wisdom tooth was surgically removed, and I still have their X-Ray about my impacted wisdom tooths. I am feeling numbness for a week, good thing my lingual nerve was not damaged on that time. I should have removed the other one three years back, but we have no enough money. Experts say that the impacted wisdom tooth may be easily removed when you're not over 25 years old. My right side now is giving me pain and causes headache and pain in my right ear, bothers me from working in my business. The thing I'm scared after surgery of my present wisdom tooth is to have a risk of getting permanent numbness on the operated side and the "dry socket" thingy. I'm already researching some answers about these topics, and there are many commentors that are experiencing numbness for months, years and even permanent. I'm really sick of the pain now, but greater risk will come after surgery as I need to do this earlier, but funds and schedule are the real problem.
It depends on how good your dentist is. Could be painful, could be painless. Probably best left alone. Once they're fully through they won't cause pain anymore.
Btw guys, my tooth operation was a success hours ago. But right now still I experienced bleeding in my affected area which the sutures are placed. I need to rest at least a couple of days to gain full recovery. At least the "tormentor" was gone, and also my numbness was gone hours after operation. It was very painful at first when my dentist injected anesthesia to me, but I fight for it until the rest are totally gone. The procedure was finished after less than 1 hour. So my two lower third molars are completely eliminated (which the other one was removed 3 years ago). Woohoo! At least the "tormentor" will never come back again.
I am suffering right now my gum is swollen and I was having a hard time swallowing and yesterday I have a fever I take paracetamol and it helps me relieve the pain.. but today it's tingling in pain again as if it's punishing me.. *what have I done wrong anyway?* Can I take Mefenamic Acid? It was Non-Steroidal and anti-inflammatory the pain is killing me I can't work properly Please help
i don't know where At the edge of the Earth is ,so i need directions. i'll bring the pliers. see a dentist. you might want to see a doctor first.a fever is not a good thing.
Yes not painful at all.n more rare cases, symptoms include swollen glands in the neck or problems opening your mouth.
