Hello, there's a learning curve in both blog platforms, I find Drupal great if your a web developer, if you're looking for simplicity I would recommend WordPress.

    Good luck,

Drupal & Wordpress are 2 really good CMS.
But Wordpress have more plugins and is more "simple" ^^

Anyway, Drupal have a lot of functions too and is really fresh :)

Drupal is a CMS, and WP is a Blog publishing software. Their both completely different! So I'm not sure which one would be best for you.

Look, just because a site says something like that doesn't mean you should believe it. I guess in this "packtpub" world WP is considered a CMS, but unfortunately in the real world of reality it's a blog publishing tool, and shouldn't be mistaken as a CMS.

Take a moment to read more about Packt and you'll probably get a better picture about who they are and what they do related to the world of CMS.
They don't just "say" things, they give awards to open source projects. The 2009 Open Source CMS Market Share Report reached the conclusion that WordPress enjoys the greatest brand strength of any open source content management systems. WP is no longer just about blogging.

So here's a definition of a CMS (a Web CMS to split hairs) from wikipedia, which part of this does WordPress not have ? While WP isn't Joomla or Drupal and it is Blog Centric, it does allow one to Manage Content.
