i just accidentally clicked on my own ad, what should i do?

nothing will happen dont worry....it is accidentally done know nothing will happen.....

 

Google knows your ip, they will just ignore any clicks you do. But don't to it to often!

 

Google would know if its an accidentally clicked one or a deliberately clicked one! Dont worry buddy!

 

I've had this happen to me a few times as well and didn't get in trouble, the Google rep. told me that it was unnecessary to contact them about it as it was just a small mistake and that their system would detect it so don't stress out about it. However, don't make it a habit.

 

I dont see why you should be worried for one click - you yourself are a consumer, and there is nothing wrong in checking out an ad of interest that appeals to you. Yous hould be worried only when you are running a botnet or something like that that clicks on your ads all the time at intervals.

 

You will be ok, its if you click 5 times or more then an alert will be issued.

 

Sometimes I find one or two of the ads very interesting, so I do click it but that happens once in maybe 1-2 months

 

Just don't worry about that.
A single accidental click is fine as long as you don't make this mistakes often.

Never do this! Always use Adsense preview tool if you really want to check where your ads lead to!

 

What? Doesn't everybody click 50 or 60 times a day on their own ads? I thought everybody did that. What's the problem?

I did that as well. I think 1 clicked won't banned your adsense

 

I did this once and get zero. Maybe youll be the same. No worries.

 

just forget it and becareful for the next time...hopefully google will forgive you...
