    Hi Friends,
We will be starting a Computer Training Institute by the end of July.
I'm always thinking about the ideas, ways to grasp Media/Students/Public attention to show our institute as a different and highly reputed one.

I would greatly appreciate if you have any ideas that made you succeed (or even made you failed may be we can learn from them) in developing your Concern/Brand/Product very much successful towards your customers and also beating your competitors.

Your tips can be anything that worth's every single penny from choosing the brand name to naming the courses.

you can also add online marketing if it effectively converts, but i love to hear more offline Marketing tips from you Ninjas :)

I think a computer training course would be greatly needed at Community Colleges. I would get some oversized postcards together with a website on it, pass them out at the colleges, lead it to a webinar or a video that you recorded about your class, or training, and then an optin form for them to get a discount or bonuses??

I use business cards and I ordered some pens those work good because people will pick up the free pen. I have used a few bandit signs as well.

If it's local then try to get a top listing on google maps. That's where the money is at.

you mean you have made a listing on yellow pages about your coupon that offers bonuses or low price to customers who have that coupon submitted to you ? Please explain.

Excellent suggestions my friend, we already planning to do oversized postcards like wall hanging, and public awareness messages with our computer training institute name and address below.
but optin and giving bonuses we never thought so far, we will definitely take this into action.
    Thanks again.
We are still at the desiging stage of business card. i dont know how to include all of our course names, offers, how we are unique in that small business card , i hope we will get a good design that speaks our brand. for pens, do you have any specific suggestions ? is it a ball point or an ink pen, the way to mark the company name, tag line etc etc ?

You are right, but it wont get lots of conversions because the area we were starting is not much internet penetrated one but i hope surely it will get some conversions.

I would do some type of viral marketing. Viral is a huge source of a lot of marketing success. Richard Branson when he first started his companies did viral stunts and other things to get people to notice his companies.
