I'm really slow at redesigning my two blogs since it's hard to figure out css/html at times, but I think I've made them look much better. http://www.fitnessthatsfun.com http://www.ditchtime.com What do you guys think? I think I might of just mastered good design. Maybe not good add placement though or design on that part though.
They look better. FitnessThatsFun looks like a game blog actually. You should add some pictures or graphics which are relevant with your site. Upper menu looks nice better than plain text. Ditchtime's design looks more professional. Good color choices. Good luck.
FTF is somewhat of a game blog though. I know what you mean, but I don't think anyone cares as long as it looks good and is pretty easy to navigate. I'm referring to the navigation on this part because I don't think anyone cares they are gaming navigation style buttons. The pictures I guess. The top left picture refers to nature/water more and the picture on the right is to someone in good shape. I think I need more images in my text instead of worrying anything more about my design. My design actually feels like a blog now and it took forever to figure out that stupid hover feature for my navigation. Hard to get real images at times since I don't travel much except the gym. I don't like taking photos there. Thanks for your help.
blog design is not that good, try to change the background and text color,, have some header and logo,,,change the link color
Black text is the best. White background would be the best background for 90% of large blogs. Gray is decent. No need to change this. Don't want a header or logo at this time. Link color being blue is the best you can get also. Do you know much about web design?
Good Point. I'm thinking of changing that anyways. I'd keep the gray in the widget area and the background, but not the main area where I post new topics.
Can someone do this for me if they have time. 1.Go to http://www.fitnessthatsfun.com 2. Click on the "games" section. Tell me what you think of the layout for that area. Then 3. Click on the "sports" section. Tell me what you think of the layout for that area. Which one is a better look or do you think people will prefer?
Both the blogs are aligned well with good css/html coding but the design and color schemes are not very impressive to me and looks bit old.
