    Hi

I am planning to promote multiple products using a single site and planing to display the product in a single page.but its not my home page.is it always necessary everything should be in the home page.If I put entire contents in inner page how good it is? whether the customer will come to inr pages?

is it a good idea to display multiple products in a single page.

I used one site to promote multiple products, but each has a different page. Don't put them all in a single page, unless you're comparing them.

I would say that as long as the products are all related to the same niche this is not a bad idea, however I would be more inclined to do a review site for a few of the top products if you are going to go down this route.

Another thing you could do is set up a Wordpress blog and you could have banners and so on in the right sidebar.

If you do choose to have seperate pages, make sure you have done strong keyword research for each product for each page.

You are not ready to start anything.

Figure out what you can do to add value for your customers. The page they land on doesn't matter. What matters is that the person you have targeted is truly interested in your offer. And that you know how to find these people and create value for them so they will take an action and make a purchase.

It's ok if you do it as a review , like rating wich product is the best and giving the pros and the cons of each products

There is nothing wrong with having multiple products and using separate pages for each. In fact, if you are doing ppc, I recommend doing it that way.

One of the biggest problems I see with many web sites is that the home page sucks.

    Either
    1. I arrive at the site and don't have a clue as to what the site is about, what it has to offer, or where to go to find what.

and 2. The site is cluttered with so many banners, images and just plain BS, that it is clear to see that their only intent is to make a sale. Doesn't matter what they are selling or the purpose of the site, they just want a sale and list every affiliate product they are members of.

I view things differently from internetmarketingiq in that the landing page certainly does matter. My definition of a landing page is simply the page someone lands on as the result of clicking on a link. Having said that, each one of my landing pages are focused specifically on targeted keywords. The anchor text for my ads and backlinks match a specific page of my site. If they arrive on my page it is because I have exactly what they are looking for.

My home page will differ. Sometimes it is just a simple page with no clutter, and just general info about the main topic of my site and possibly a blurb about how to get around and use the site. Other times it might be a blog that contains good content related to my keywords. Not a sales page.

How you structure your site is important and there isn't a one template fits all solution. Put some thought into it.

    Hope this helps!!

Thanks a lot! Great advice, zeekstern.
I have been told to call for one action only - does that fit only a certain kind of websites?

Not sure what you mean. If you are talking about a "call to action" , you really can't have too many. But it does depend on the "style" of your landing page. If you are blogging, for example, your calls to action will be different from a sales type landing page.
