lol what happened to that? probably the biggest panic inducing non-event in all of human history.

If i could be bothered id like to look at all the threads where forum drones bleated on, in their factually void way, about how we are all going to die, posting statistics which were made up by some 12 year old with barely the capacity to turn a computer on and create a blogger account and ask them what happened.

On the plus side governments generally responded well in procuring and storing vaccines. We don't need them now, but vaccinations are the kind of things it's better to have and not need than need and not have. It also gave them a good dry run in dealing with the outbreak of a communicable disease.

If you consider India, then even everyone are mainly concentrating on shi*t discussion between SRK and Shivsena. People here are concerned about khana but government is more interested in discussion about Khan. A person who haven't donated a single penny to poor people and we are backing up that shit. Poor India and poor mentality

this is slightly off-topic but I think u'll like this stox:

In Israel, the religious morons , headed by deputy health minister, decided to call the flu: "the Mexican flu", because pig is not kosher - an unpure animal and a dirty thing ;)
    http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1081515.html

when you search for "mexican flu" in Hebrew, you get tons of religious-oriented websites.
    http://www.google.co.il/search?hl=e...04&q="שפעת+מקסיקו"&btnG=Search&meta=&aq=f&oq=

when you search "swine flu", you get secular ones, including wikipedia :)
    http://www.google.co.il/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_deCH291IL304&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=שפעת+החזירים

Now, the Mexicans took it personally and got pretty mad:

That story made me lol. It's so typical of the religious to look for an angle which allows them to be religiously offended.

Funny enough, when I was travelling through HIV ridden countries, like Thailand or Cambodia, people there were not afraid of getting AIDS. They were all afraid of getting Swine Flu. It was weirding me out. In a place where 1 in 50 people have HIV, they don't think it's dangerous and don't protect themselves. but mention Swine Flu and they all run and hide in horror.

I was a little freaked out about swine flu because there hasn't been an epidemic for awhile, mainly because science has suppressed them but there is that threat of a super virus that we don't have an answer for, not capable of handling.

I think we are facing such problems because we are not going on the right path as given by GOD.
Such diseases are a warning sign from God for all of us.
Let's prepare for the day of judjment.
