I want all of you to give your opinion on India's test no.1 ranking with these kind of selection, attitude of players and lack of professionalism.
Well if you are talking based on last match performance then I am laughing on your conclusion, if you look recent 12 months performance then their is doubt why we are no.1 Test team.

It is not correct to judge the ability of a team looking at just the last performance. It is the collective effort over a longer time period which matters in such rankings. India has been fairly successful under Dhoni's captaincy and I am sure they would bounce back equally hard in the remaining match! Regards, RightMan
Have to say , they are pretty lucky to be No 1 as they played most tests in subcontinent and weak oppositions.
I hope india deserves the top ranking.but if you see the performance of the Indian team.I am having some doubt about the Indian Team.
Not after the last test, but they have played very well in the last 18 months. And now they have SA under the pump in the second test
Yes but today's performance will enough to prove that Indian team deserve for World No.1 Test team, one bad results is not a perfect to judge any team.
Well they played great Cricket then others, and thats why they are at the Top Point of keeping that rank, I still think they need someone to fill the void created after kumble's Retirement, and also need Ishant or Shreesant or someone to have good attack with Zaheer... But on the paper, Indian Batsman lok most ferocious )
Of course they deserve to be. Don't base your conclusion based on performance of one match. I am sure Dhoni and team would bounce back!
In India cricket is more like a religion They are working hard (atleast for some time ) So they deserve it
India deserve to be no.1 for sure, but the question that really arises is, how long can they hold on to the top rank ?
