How to transfer wordpress to new server

    having a little trouble with this process,do i do a fresh install of wordpress,downloading the latest zip from wordpress.org-then do a backup on old server and add this to wp-content?

    1. Create new database.
    2. Upload DataBase buck up.
    3. In file wp-config.php change database name, user and password.
    4. Upload old site, all file to site root directory.

    Maybe you need change path to images.

    Export the XML file from your old Wordpress ( tools>export) and take a backup of your wp-content folder.

    Do a fresh install, replace the wp-content folder and import the xml.

    If you use this sections & you have a large wordpress database, some hosting will not work because the memory access in some hosting provider are limited
