hi pips. I'm starting to put up a new blog and to fill it with posts coming from article directories such as EzineArticles for example. Do some SEO things, just like bookmarking, directory submission, forum posting, blog commenting and other white hat SEO techniques. Will my blog ranked high on Search Engines knowing that there's the duplicated content issue?
No it will not rank high with pages or articles from article directories If you are looking to rank pages higher in search engine rankings, then easier method is to build and post fresh articles on on your site and after few weeks when they have been indexed well and have some backlinks to it, then go ahead and submit those articles with variations to all the article direcotories (not the same one), so that it starts getting some backlinks to the very same articles on your site This way you should start seeing some nice rankings for your site
Or use the WPUnique plugin that makes duplicate content often seem original to Google. Make sure that the original writer's links and credit are intact when you use them.
I think you can write an introductory paragraph, so that the content will not appear as 100% duplicate. It's impossible for any webmaster using content from Ezinearticles and yet rank higher than Ezine.
I don't think that is good because you may steal the work of other writers. Now you don't want to post a copied work, right? Be original.
Writers want their work syndicated across the web - provided that the links and credit/bio box are intact.
The whole point of writers submitting their articles to ezine is to increase their backlinks and get their article out more, they want it to be put on as many websites/webpages correctly, because your meant to include the resource box, which tends to include a link or two, so they are in fact getting more backlinks. On topic, yeah you can use the content, yeah you can rank high, don't listen to anyone telling you different, it's the exact same as auto blogging, it's very easy to rank highly with a good constant stream of content.
