Do shortened internal links hurt SEO

    Hey guys another question for you brains. Internal links to pages in the site are just set up "about.html" . Should I be making these Http://www.walkerpestmanagement.com/about.html instead????? or does it not make a difference.

    It does make any difference in terms of SER but it might be easier for your visitors to remember a URL such as: about.html than about-our-company-1259.html

    If you are talking about in the code personally I always use the full path rather than about.htm about.html

    I also do the opposite to what SEOGeek said as I like to put keywords in so use .com/about-seo-writer.htm about-seo-writer.html as noone is searching for "about" unless trying to find about.com perhaps
