I tried xoom 4 times after paypal issue.

i recived all my payments in 24 hrs in HDFC bank account,one of my payment is cancelled when I try to click cash pickup (pnb) option on xoom.

which i post earlier with a screenshot.

by my experiance please dont withdraw above $1000 coz xoom guys wants your govt ID and address proof (which is important to be verifiy you but it take an extra day or so).

I supplied scanned copys of PAN card,3months paypal history,copy of telephone bill and raised my limit on xoom.

believe me it is fast and secure..... but the fees of course is high as compared to paypal

 

How much is their fee? and their exchange rate?

 

I did call paypal customer service now and according to them the bank withdrawal issue may take up another few days. Seems like this will not end soon.

Give a call dude.. It's been 48 hours already and yeah, if you're gonna go ahead then ask about the withdrawal date too

 

I already have recvd one mail from them this morning , asking to wait for 24hrs more...

 

I am with you pal. Have not received the reimbursement for the deducted fund till now. Earlier they sent me an email stating it will be done within 24 hrs. Since then it is more than 36hrs and I have received anything from PayPal. I just dropped a mail to them. Lets see what come up!!!

At least they are correcting their wrong. I got the whole amount which I had withdrawn - back. It is as if I hadn't withdrawn anything. Much relieved.

 

I will be going for XOOM now to withdraw my paypal funds, its really too late to discuss on this issue,
We are discussing on this since past 5 days and yet no news and a ray of hope is seen regarding withdraw options.

I think we must use other options till this withdrawal issue becomes 100% solved, else again we'll withdraw the money and inspite of coming in our bank account it will again bounce back to our Paypal account.

 

Has anyone tried out the option of withdrawing to their card? Do you think it will work?

 

Yes 2yrs back , when bank withdrawal wasnt an option , people use to withdraw through credit cards only..

 

I have not tried out any option through paypal now.
Just think when RBI is not accepting the Paypal policies
Is it not been a risky to ask for Paypal Cheque Issue or through Credit Card.

I think we must give time to let this issue be 100% resolved, till then since people are getting +ve results from XOOM, I am going for it.

I am having my PNB Account and will try this and let you all know whenever I will get the funds in my bank account using XOOM Service.

Yes Infact I am proceeding to withdraw through XOOM right now only.

Hope I will get money in my bank account till monday for sure.

 

finally recvd my 2nd curreny conversion fees...will try xoom on sunday now
