As I have stated that the site has been neglected and needs promoting. In the past article marketing and link building was done. Given the age of the site, it shouldn't take long to get higher ranking keyword positioning with some additional effort.

Sorry can't accept as that wouldn't even cover the cost of the content let alone anything else. This site has a lot of potential because some work was done in the past. But just like most sites you need to regularly build links and promote.

 

I don't understand why the age of the site would help it rank better when there has not been backlink building and advertising. I see people say this a lot, can you explain it a bit?

 

That's probably due to the sandbox effect that are at times given to new sites by google as some have indicated. Therefore age of site can be helpful for rankings when building links. This site had some article marketing & link building done in the past so it already has a head start and by continuing to do so should get it ranking easier.
