    HI Everyone,

when i am using IE and i search for my site with keywords i have been coming up either first or second on the first page. When i do the same search using Opera i come up on the third page. If i got to AOL and then go to google.com i come up first or second on the first page but if i used to search box which says enhanced by google i am on the third page again. Am i missing smething here?

Search engines uses many things to generate results. The newly updated news is that they are making use of real time search results. So don't bother about these small stuffs.

Even search engines also use your browsing history and many other things from the browser and this is why you see many variations in different browsers.

What you are talking about is how many SEO Experts fudge their rankings for their clients. If you use IE for an example, and do a search for Internet Marketing Services over and over to see how your site is doing. IE's <history> sees this and pushes your site higher than it should.

My site was #3 for months until I reset the IE History. Now I'm back where I should be. Damn...

In the SERP, uper right corner. Look for Web History.

It's actually Google's way of providing personalized search results.

For now, you should jsut be able to sign out of your gmail or google account. In toehr long run, however, you'll have to clear your history, all cookies, and all temporary internet files in order to get a 'clean' results page.
