The most popular general forum on the internet... Are you looking for the most users or most posts or what? Many times a forum will have a plethora of guests and very few active members who contribute and add content to the forum. In all honesty, you don't want the most populated or active forum, you want the most forum most concentrated to whatever market you're trying to attract. Your choices are either shooting in the dark at a lot of forum members, or directing your resources towards the select few with an exponentially better chance of making a return on your investment.

Haha! Seriously guys the thread is over, Gaia really is one of, if not the largest, forums in the world. DP dosn't even come close. Another large one would be Something Aweful, and there are, of course, others.

Exactly! I mean it's a fantastic forum for webmasters! (we all love it), but if someone who loves looking at nude pics comes here he'd hate it! He'd rather stay all day on 4chan
