I would have to contradict you here. India did show a great deal of confidence and scope in the second innings against the pace bowlers. Almost 2/3 of the players could manage his pace in the second innings.

This does shows that there is still a small(teenie-weenie) ray of hope for the Indians.....still ;)

India will not remain at no1 spot for long term until the bowling becomes good.
India needs to work hard on their bowling department.

India's Bowling wasn't poor in previous match i suppose. It was their fielding and Kallis's and Amla's Batting that did it for SA....

With the inclusion of S Shreesanth,Dinesh karthik and Suresh Raina, i think our batting lineup which was weak in first test has became too stronger with these players.
India can win 2nd test and must win and Test series 1-1 to maintain their No 1 Test Ranking.

One thing which we always knows that Laxman every time play a big innings when we thought he is out of form and his performance not good in last few innings so we can expect a big innings from him.;)

What made them think that W.Saha was fit for this contest? Even Smith, during a press conference, said that they should have had one more bowler instead of Saha..

don't think SA will be taking rest..... they will come up with some new plans and ideas to rap up the series... they are currently the best side and surely will win the series either by drawing or winning the 2nd test. it's up to the indians weather they will be playing for a draw or lose:D

I was surprised as well... particularly since Saha is supposed to be stand-in keeper. If Dhoni was fit to play, I do not understand why was Saha included in the final eleven?
The batting line up in the last match appeared full of holes and one struggled to find any strength or length... even on paper! :(

This selection process is really very funny and interesting at times. Two players namely Sudeep Tyagi and Abhimanyu Mithun were selected for the first match, but they were not included in the final eleven.

Due to the disastrous result... even these two were dropped (from the bench)! Some players sometimes get dropped for no fault!

BCCI was trying to do pitch fixing!!!
but pitch curator responded negatively..LOL..he said that india did not have any good spinner to bowl in turning pitch so there was no way to make pitch spinner friendly!..man this is funny as well as horrible! :D
