Forums have issues with the google duplicate content policy too and most have rules for cross posting as this can lead to pages being blocked or if they use adsense then there could be an issue there too. If you want jump threads then use the quote buttons.
Adsense do not have any problem with your duplicate contents and they will never ban you for this reason. Yes, the traffic will surely go down.
Well I guess this is harming the forum so the post should be deleted and the people warned. I guess I have come to an epiphany when copying content recently. It sounds like a good and an easy way to generate content but I will bet my bottom doller that 99% of people that do this never get anywhere. Like I have said before if you take an interest in something and have a passion for it then your hard work will pay off in the end because its a topic thats important to you. I can can write original posts quite quickly and resonable well but if I try to write about something I'm not interested in I always lose interest and give up. The time I had invested is lost along with the money on resourses. The thing I like about original content especially on forums is we are a communty. There are some ppl in communites that abuse the system and others that repect it just like in our normal social lives. Being able to provide this content to digital point and recieve the praise for it, is to me a good feeling. Why I would want to copy and paste someone else thoughts, is that not true to my nature?
yes they can. If they say that you copy ver batim exactly then that particular page gets dropped down or placed in supplemental index. Your main page doesn't get penalized. Also, if the main article gets deleted or something happens to it then your article will take its place and you will get full credit for it.

So if you are in the business of creating sites for money then what is the point of copying material right? Google will just favour the heavier page over yours, you will not get and traffic and you will not make any money. Hiring ghost writers is fine unless they are selling their material as plr articles.
I have read the TOS and other things said from Google Adsense team about why ads are not displayed on a website. They clearly said that adsense do not have any problem with duplicate contents and nor even they are going to take any action for such case. In case any of the website is found using duplicate contents then the original content owner needs to use legal ways to tackle such things and there is nothing to do with Adsense.

I do agree I guess to some extent that adsense are not "exhaustive" as they put it in their methods to stop ads for duplicate content but it is still in there TOS saying you shouldn't build sites using other peoples work. They do know if you are using duplicate content in the site diagnostics section however will most only take action if someone complains, which they do. Adsense have bigger issues to deal with such as click fraud and its probably their first priority to protect their advertisers not police the quality of the web. Google can easily detect duplicate contents and they know very well where the content was originally published. So you should never challenge the working of Google as they highly active in every black hat activities. Still there is no worries regarding adsense for duplicate contents
why can't u just rewrite them ? Must u do it word for word ? rephrase, paraphrase, add ur own one liners etc. If u must copy and paste, then have some posts which u ramble about ur personal life or anything under the sun related to ur keyword........... Mix it all up and not have a blog just all copied content. I do copy and paste sometimes but I also have my own comments, my own posts and I also do Youtube videos.
