Direct Withdrawal from paypal to indian bank works now?

Do any one had succeeded in withdrawing directly from Paypal to Your Indian Bank accounts?
I don't want to do Xoom transfer as i have to go through several new steps which i may do some mistakes and it also has little more commission rate even after paypals low exchange rate.

If any one had succeeded in withdrawing directly from paypal to your bank accounts, please post it here. Or please tell me from what day onwards we can withdraw directly.

    Thank you.

Why don't you try to withdraw first ? It's not working till date. PayPal will make an announcement pretty soon or it might take a lifetime to announce depends on our RBI. God knows.

    Hi there,

I every week make withdraws to my icicibank a/c and sbi a/c. it works perfectly

Make sure that your name in paypal and the bank a/c should match correctly.

    thanks

It certainly isnt going to take lifetime, paypal cant afford that to happen. Its reputation is under the scissors and making the users wait for "lifetime" will destroy their reputation completely.

I had a bank withdrawal request made on Jan-27 which got stuck and yesterday, it was reversed and funds deposited back into paypal balance. So, they are still not processing any bank withdrawals...

This month all our money got stuck on paypal and we are out of money for expenses. still no word yet. For me the most important thing is withdrawal and i would only sleep better once i have money in the bank.

Relax. Take a deep breath. I can understand the urgency. Be positive, there will be some solution to it.

Babus are a stumbling block to all progress, they should put their house in order before troubling PayPal. Babudom at its best, maybe next they will trouble Moneybookers too. In my country no issues like this.

I can understand the feel of urgency as i went through the same situtation many times. BUT this time i have no money in PayPal and i would direct my customers to pay through direct bank transfer or xoom or moneybookers.com

Still I dont want to take risk of 25$ fees from the paypal so I am using xoom right now, which is giving even better conversion rate then paypal so its better to do xoom
