YPN Taking More?

Discussion in 'Publisher Network' started by Pepsi Live, Sep 2, 2006.

I have a blog that displays ads that from what i seen in the bid tool pay $1.75 and $2.00 per click. But when i look at my stats I'm only getting a RPC of $0.50. Could this mean that YPN takes $1.50 for them? My conclusion is that YPN is now taking more for every click then before.

    What do you guys think?

the bid tool shows bids for the search network. the bids on the content network are seperate and not necessarily in the same range. also, you have to take into consideration which advertisers are actually being clicked. just because the bid tool says 2.00 is the top bid, that doesnt mean your users arent clicking the .25 cent ads.

Yea, the payments and costs dont HAve to be the same, especially as more people start advertising and more ads show up for more clicks
