I don't know I am new to this.
Guys I bought 3dElevator.com 450k search in Google for elevator in 1 month.

Guys any ideas how much this would worth?
I got another one, which is like way better, but not gonna share until my card finishes transactions.

I caught this thread title showing in the Last Post and actually realised that I myself have been looking into the whole 3D TV thing especially with the World Cup coming up in the summer. Reading everything here it looked like most of the good ones were gone but I gave it a go anyway and was surprised to get what I did.

Will it work out or not, who knows but hey if you don't at least try you'd never know so good luck to all!

Enough talk, here's what I grabbed:

    3delectricals.com
    3delectrics.com
    3drtv.com
    3drtv.co.uk

The last 2 I really like as it's '3D Ready TV' abbreviated and I keep picturing it showing at the bottom of some tech magazine or something.

Yeah, I like those ones to. Also could be abbreviated to 3D recordable TVs.

    Cheers

still too much quality out there to settle on something like that... sorry, just my opinion.

You might have to spend some time looking for the right products and /or acronyms or words and such, but they're there.

Just last night I left a link on the top of one of these pages about the new '3d BDP'... "Bluray Disc Player" ... "3d BDP Recorder".... And it was available... so i scooped it... 3dBDP.com

... that's gonna be a hot item... so, they're there guys, just look a little harder and be realistic...i just don't think 3delevator is the way to go right now...unless there's something I don't know about the word elevator - which is very possible.

Not trying to pick on anybody, but after all the good names that have been posted on this thread from the beginning have been SOLID names.. I know it's a long thread, but check out some of these pages and names that were all just recently purchased...man...what a month we've had!!! some sweet names for sure.

Buywiser's auctioning off body parts because of how many good names he found and couldn't resist
    j/k buywiser
    :)

    but, they're there...REALISTICALLY there

Those are some good articles. Thanks for the info.
As I have no desire to invest money in this there are many qtcxxx.com's available ie; qtccellphones.com qtcmobilephones.com and qtcphones to name a few. Could be good with this technology.

I had to copy my opinion over here because this 3D thing is getting way out of hand. And I'm not just picking on you because there are others who have regged names that are complete head-scratchers.

    3DElevator.com?!

Folks are really, REALLY getting carried away by 3D. They're sticking a "3D" label on keywords that aren't even remotely connected (3DUnicorn.com is still available, by the way).

Also keep in mind that the "good" 3D names are only temporary. As soon as 3D becomes the standard for the visual communication industries, having a 3D name will be superfluous, as that industry you're describing with your 3D domain name will already be standardized by 3D (for instance, "3DMonitors.com" will become worthless when ALL monitors come with standard 3D. "Monitors.com" will be the one left standing.).

Are there "3D" names that have value?

Of course there are. But these are directly related to the industries that will utilize them (film, computers, phones, etc.). All I'm advocating here is that people take a deep breath before regging any more "3D" names. Because right now, all you're doing is lightening your wallets.

I do agree about the elevator domain, but just because you didnt maybe take advantage of some great names while they were available doesn't mean these domains will not take off. HDTV has been out for a damn long time and tvs are still being sold as hdtv not just tv. This will be a long time if at all that 3d will be standarized on everything. Seems I detected a bit of jealousy in your typing tone. But its ok, 3descalator.com is available if you want to jump on that.

You can detect whatever you want to. This is a forum for opinions. I gave mine.

I've been around domain names for a while now, so I've seen hype for the "next big thing" and I've also seen pump & dump tactics.

As I've said before, there are some good "3D" names out there, but most are mediocre and ALL will have a relatively short shelf life.
