$50 Logo Contest or $100 Website Contest

I am looking to design a website for a company called Positive Advancement Services.

The initials PAS, is what the current vision for the logo should use. Currently we have brainstormed an idea where the A would tower over the P and S, and on either side of the A, could be used as a ladder where people are climbing the ladder to get to the top. The whole idea of the site/logo is people advancing their lives..There could be a tree/flowers at the top as well...

That was one idea we thought of. We would like something more than just the letters, we want to make sure that the logo also shows what the company is about.

Please use your imagination.

If you just design the logo, that will be $50, if you design the home page design for the site as well. This will be worth $100.

We are open to color scheme as well.

Do you need a vector version of the logo, or is the web going to be the only use for the logo?

Logos should ALWAYS be done in vector, just so you know.

 

Not always. Lot of members requesting logos even ask for a rasterized image as a logo just for web. Would be better to have a vector logo, but isn't an ALWAYS

Sorry, I was talking in the literal sense of a logo. A "real" logo is ALWAYS vector and that's just the way it is. But I'm just trying to help out and don't wanna turn this into an argument by being a dick.

 

I would prefer the logo be in vector format, however a .psd will be sufficient.

thank you everyone for your posts. Also, the couple that has been sent via PM. I like where everyone is going with this. However, currently nothing has popped out at me. I have a partner I need to review this with over the next day or so, and once i have their collective feedback. I will either choose a winner or have some suggestions for everyone.
