Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Hello friends,
I am now telling Xoom.com working procdure.here somebody success with xoom.somebody failed.
Here are conditions if you want xoom succeeded.
1.indian people must withdraw his money to only his indian bank account.
so your paypal name and bank account name must be same.
and shipping address also same as when you create xoom signup.

If anything will different xoom canceled your transaction and money back to your paypal account.

 

Why ? That is what I copy pasted form PP page minus the ID/Amount. It is in the normal format in PP transaction details page. Nothing much there, no other details.

 

Friends I got some amount credited back to my paypal account. It's $68.02 and the subject is paypal.

However I lost $200+ due to currency conversion. But I have only received $68.02. Remailing ???

 

Update:

I called Paypal now and spoke to one of their agent. According to him there is no official update that the withdrawal issue has been resolved. He says that there is some problems associated with Indian banks which is causing the issue. However he suggested me to initiate the withdrawal now (if I want) and it would take anywhere from 7-14 days to be credited to Indian account (delay is due to problems with Indian bank accounts).

He assured that it will not be reversed once again as it happened previously.

This shows that the problem is getting resolved and we should be able to withdraw our money in 24-36 hrs from now. Cheers...

You didnt ask them why you recvd only 68$ instead of 200$ ??

 

People.. I think PayPal is crediting our accounts for the loss we had on currency conversions when the withdrawals were reversed to our PP accounts. This is in a way good thing. I got he difference credited for each withdrawal I made. But its still a little short of what I actually lost. But still even a little compensation is a bonus to me right now.

 

Yes that's right. I had all the things same.. maybe that's why my withdrawal was successfully completed...

It did not charged me any fees?

I have made 3 withdrawls of $1000. And for one of my withdrawals I have lost $68.02. This amount is credited back now. I hope they credit the difference amount for each withdrawals seperately.

Waiting for another two credits. I hope they will do it in a few hours.

Seems like they are reversing the amount compeletely which we have lost. This is very good move from paypal (if it happens lol)... Hope all the Indian paypal users will get their lost amount back in a few hours from now.

strangely i had done one withdrawal on 5th feb...Its not been refunded..my 1st feb withdrawal has been refunded though..

now waiting for the fees to be refunded..
