Home page Was not Indexed in Google

Hi friends,

I have a website in which Homepage was not indexed in google and rest of the pages are being indexed and non of my keywords appear in google SERP.I do not know the reason why this is happening??? and in yahoo, bing all the pages are indexed and keywords ranked well. This is the first time i have experienced a problem like this. I have checked the robot.txt files(everything is perfect over there) Help me in finding the solution. Thanks in advance for your valuable replies...

 

Have you recently attempted submitting your sitemap to Google?

 

You could have the attribute "no index" set to your homepage

 

I haven't used "no index" attribute in the homepage...

Submit your sitemap in google webmaster tool and index page also verify both link. submit your site in digg i'm sure your site index in 24hour

 

Try to submit your homepage on stumbleupon.

 

You can submit the xml sitemap of the website to Google search engine with the help of webmaster tool account.

 

There are two concerns for you-

1) Home page indexing - I am making sure that you have found everything which could de-index it. I mean you don't have any copied content on your home page nor even you are getting any porn or illegal content related link to your home page. Now as you are getting good ranking in Y & B, then you should have keyword stuffing best. But find out for your homepage that you are not having too many keywords on youe home page. Find out this thing. Calculate that your home page do not have too much keyword stuffing.

2) Keyword ranking - Google ranking is completely different from other search engines. You are getting ranking in Yahoo or Bing, it means that your website have good keyword stuffing. For Google you need to concentrate on backlinks.

 

maybe your the keywords you used have low average search or you don't create backlinks. Try searching good keywords then do some blog commenting on sites with similar niche as yours. That could help gain backlinks. Hyperlink your keyword then redirect to your site. Much better you leave a hyperlink on do-follow blogs. credit card for students

 

Dear, Do some social bookmarking for your site, this is the best way you can index your site.

 

Submit your home page URL to few social bookmarking site like Digg, delicious, stumbleupon and more also do submit your home page url to Google Webmaster tool and wate one more you definetly will get result

 

Better yet is to submit your sitemap in google in that way your home page will be surely crawl and index. Make sure to submit also to those social bookmarking sites the home page of your site.

 

You need to submit a sitemap to google via their webmaster tools and include the home page url in that. Also, make sure you dont have ROBOTS meta tag like NOARCHIVE or NOINDEX in that home page. Further check to see your robots.txt file, to see, if you are blocking the indexing of the home page in any way.

 

One way of getting indexed quicker is to get a couple of links form high PR sites. If you have 2 links from sites with PR7 you can get indexed straight away. The lower the page rank the more links you need. An other way is, can submit under do follow sites so that you can easily get the page rank.While targeting the keywords keep one keyword as a primary one for the home page and an other as a secondary one. I suggest to create a Search Engine sitemap that helps the crawler to learn about the structure of your site and to increase the coverage of your webpages. Then and there updation of your site is very essential which makes your site to be frequently visited by the spider.
