Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

you know what when u use xoom you should maybe try sending the funds to your mom /dads / sis bank account whos surname is same that way i would say its better chances of transcation going forward

 

I am getting confused whether xoom works or not because half the people say it worked for them while the other half says it didnt. This thread http:// forums. digitalpoint.com /showthread.php?t=1689038&page=7&highlight=paypal seems to have all the details.
Is it worth trying - do we lose any money if xoom does not go through?

People are searching for alternatives now and i am sure paypal will loose big market of india if problem is not resolved soon

 

Nope..that cannot be the reason for reversals.. Xoom has some issues on transferring $$$$$ from Indian paypal account to Indian Bank accounts.

Money sent using US bank or paypal account should work just fine..

But still wont trust Xoom.. there too many deviations without any clear instructions.

 

what's new in these links we've known this for many days now . and where is the doom? I am wishing hard that things get better as promised by PayPal. We do have several options but none so good and versatile + universally accepted as PP...

 

Guys, anybody here got the refund? I'm dropping another mail to paypal.

 

They mention 24 Hours to 72 Hours, so I guess we need to wait for at least 3 Business day before do anything. So better we wait for it.

 

hmm yeah.. Besides, any idea how many ideas we would need to wait for withdrawals?

 

No one can say about it but I guess it will take at least 10-15 days since our government departments always work slowly! I wish it will start as soon as possible.

 

I did not get as any fee reimbursements yet from paypal.

 

Guys I just called paypal and talked with a lady,
She said they have update from management that within 24 hours withdrawals to indian banks will be started

Keeeeeeeeeeeep fingers crossed

 

anyone tried withdrawing to Creditcard/Debit card? How fast is it? I heard that it gives better exchange rate than bank transfer?

Yup you can withdraw to your Credit card or debit card if it gets added in paypal..Fees - 5$ , but you get better conversion rates..

I want Rupees in my bank badly lol, these 24 hours are very hard to spend. hard to focus on work lol, I asked her twice and she said yes so now if paypal does not start withdrawals we should forget they have any kind of support
