Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

No net yet. They say the issue is expected to be resolved "in the next few days". You would receive an update email from paypal to your registered paypal email address.
Atleast now there has been some official announcement that resolving this withdrawal issue is their top priority.

If you look carefully, laws are there to protect the interests of politicians and few industrialists and financial institutions. The same laws are meant to hinder the progress and delay the economic well being of the vast majority.

Indian govt. inherited the laws from the british who formulated most of the laws to subjugate and rein the Indian's they were ruling. No wonder the laws create more problem than they solve.

 

I Think we have to wait paypal will solve problem soon whole India facing this problem they can't do fraud with all ...

 

Its not a fraud.. Its an issue.. so it will be resolved soon. Just imagine how much time it takes for an Indian resident to get a job done from any Govt official....The same thing is gonna happen with PayPal. When the Govt is involved delays are inevitable..

Thats because they converted your Rs into $ with a rate of Rs 48/$. So we all got less dollars refunded...and we all lost a lot of money.. I myself lost around 200$ in 6 transfer reversals...

 

no need for further discussion I think, we have to wait and see what would our gov. do in this matter.

 

The best solution is to teach freelancing to a son of well known politician.

Well it seem that paypal getting normal..payments are now not reversed..
But still withdrawl is a big issue..?
And is xoom working well in regards to withdrawal to indian bank account.?

 

Yes we can just hope for best, I am sure sooner or letter they will resume bank transfer.

Like local bank --Paypal is also a bank and we all have an account in it.

We withdraw and deposit payments in our local bank and also do same in paypal

Its a matter of money our local banks in india or in world never take payment from our account without informing us.as its a crime

but in paypal they reverse payment which we have got from our client what it mean they are handling our account..no regulations

Its our money and we pay them to handle our money

I read somewhere in this thread that I Can withdraw to my CC, but how do I get money / cash from the CC then ? I am not in a habit of using my CC for purchases

Don't do that. I spoke with them yesterday about this. They saud its teh same as withdrawing to your bank account.

 

First of all Paypal is not a bank.. Its clear from their TOS. Also its not regarded as a bank in US so no one can force the banking norms on them.

 

Anyone here knows what is Xoom's cash pickup facility? Anyone used it yet? They say it takes only few minutes to pickup cash.. Is that true?
