Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

I got the same email too, and got the funds returned to my paypal account.
But no variance in exchange rates reimbursed yet.

Also in their email they have a statement.

So this means, again we are clueless when we can withdraw funds from paypal to bank accounts.

 

Nope they already stopped it from weekends.

 

^^ Exactly, that's what I'm saying from the very beginning. It's all about the Taxation.

 

Another email I have received today:

Haven't got any email, but amount was reduced

 

i didnt got any mail of refund. but reduced amount is refunded

 

Do you mean that the amount which you lost in exchange and transfer charges have been refunded back by Paypal?

 

This is whats written in paypal blog

 

no that amount is not refunded. i lost 45$.

Its true that government policy is not effecnt any online transections otherwise same problem also created in Xoom but Still now Xoom Working well , means that Paypal play big game with indian users now i m thinking that its time to go in India court against Paypal ( India) , Its Enough that paypal doing fraud is clear because they not transferred funds in our bank account and directly reverse in our paypal account and also cut reversal fees from our paypal account just think there are many indian uses paypal and doing trasection between 25th jan to 5 feb 2010 all funds has been reversal and deduct their fees means this is the trick of paypal to earn more money but why with us only?

i m finally decide to go in court against paypal but i need support to all friends who work with paypal for transection please reply me if you all ready with me?

But the Xoom people said my withdrawal request went through and it will be deposited as soon as the local bank complete its processing... IF thats true then Xoom maybe working properly..Its been 3 days and my Xoom transfer is still in process of transfer... I dont know what to think of this anymore... they are giving different replies to different people...

I have withdrawn money on Jan 26th to my icici bank account. Today (Feb10th) they restored the money into my PayPal account.

Actually i withdrawn $360, but they restored $331. I don't know why they deducted $29.
Any how i am very happy to see my money back.

 

This is a problem with everyone over here.

 

very true and I am quite sure hundreds of freelancers in India would agree with this statement. In many cases programmer get only few dollars what is fully unrealistic to bring to India without PayPal which works perfect at low cost. If we compare all alternatives, then we never reached perfect one except PayPal- its very true!

 

I guess if you are paying with US bank account fees is zero but with paypal its a no no from them

 

I transfered via xoom from payapal to HDFC bank yesterday.. They said it will take 2-3 working days.. I will update once its done

 

Well, I do not have any news regarding that. I think, still withdrawls are not possible.
