I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have been at this for just over a month and don't seem to be getting anywhere. I have posted 17 articles and not only am I not getting any sales, I'm not even getting any hops to my vendors. Shouldn't I be getting some response to my articles after this long or does it just take awhile for things to get moving. I have been using a program called ASHelper to submit my articles to many directories. But this doesn't seem to be working. Although ASHelper is pretty cool, as it is free and it spins and submits the articles for you. I have noticed it doesn't have very good options for the category to submit the article to, so it ends up in the wrong category. How important is getting your article in the right category? And help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, if your software submits to the crappiest article directories you're not gonna see any hops soon. Try submitting manually to one or two good directories such as articlesbase.com or ezine (almost everyone uses this directory but I'm not very fond of them) . Also, check to see if your hops are working - just click on them after the article is published. Best of luck - keep it up and you will see results soon.
In my opinion I would only use an article submitter to point links to a good quality article I've written in ezine or article base after good keyword research. Are you ranking well with any of the articles?
Some of my articles are showing up on the first page of Google but I'm still working on the keywords thing. I'm finding that the "bum marketing" thing doesn't work. ie.. using low competition keywords, if no one ever searches for your keywords, you may be at the top but it does you no good.
It does if you have 1000 articles . Anyway, do not post to multiple directories, post your articles only to EZA, or articlesbase. And a month is nothing, don't worry
When you say low competition do you mean low searches? I would use the google keyword tool, global search, exact, set a standard to only get keywords that have say 1500 results or more. look at the results in google and compare the competition, a lot of times the first sites are not targetting that keyword so it could be easier to beat them to those first spots and that's when keyword placement, and links pointing to the article can make a difference. Good luck
It is best to submit them manually that way you know they got submitted for sure don't worry hun it will happen just be patient.
Yeah, skip the stupid software. Write high quality articles and submit them (manually) to EzineArticles.com and then ArticlesBase.com (maybe GoArticles.com as well). Contrary to popular belief, article marketing isn't very easy. To get the best results, you need to promote your articles after you've written them by pinging and providing backlinks.
