Withdrawal to India banks from Paypal through XOOM is Working. Confirmed and Tested.

What if my friend wants to send me to my Bank Account via Xoom ? Can he send the money to his own bank account ? Can he send money to my bank account ? Mine failed last time trying to withdraw my own money to my own bank account.

 

Yes you can do it, I have done it many times but xoom charges fees approximately 10$, but their conversion rate is higher than the paypal. So its just charging a little for it.

I just called the above # and xoom representative who spoke to me was so kind and answered all my questions and cleared my doubts very patiently!

Its not like paypal customer service where robots answer us...

The good news is we can transfer our paypal money to our bank account and process time will be 2/3 days max...

 

just transfered $2200 using XOOM and they called me back inquiring why i need to transfer this money, who send me this money, i said i sell on eBay, he asked me what is my eBay ID, he wanted to see if my feedback is good enough, than asked any eBay Item number,

Explained me that he is inquiring all this for my safety, he said he is aware of paypal problem and said no problem to use XOOM services

 

I just received the money into my bank account that I withdrew through xoom from paypal. It took approximately 24 hours.

IndusInd bank. The payment was credit at 5:23 pm. I started the withdrawal yesterday at around 6:45 yesterday.

 

hmmm...Do you have premier/business PP account?
Will it work with Personal PP accounts?

 

I have a premier account and a business account too. In this case I used the premier account. I do not know if there are any issues with personal accounts.

The transfer fees are hefty though.

3. Exchange Rate: Rs. 46.23
4. Coupons Used: None
5. Paypal Account Type: Premier
6. Bank: IndusInd Bank, India
7. Bank Account Type: Savings Account

The approximate time of withdrawal was 6:45 PM on 8th February 2010
The money was credited to my bank account at 5:23 PM on 9th February 2010
The payment is credited by "BUY INDIA ONLINE.COM.INC PUNB0225400"

Total time taken: Approx 24 hours.

Here is what you can do to make sure your transactions does not get cancelled.

1. Put your real address and phone numbers
2. Enter complete details about your bank account and account holder address
3. Only use "Bank Deposit" method.
4. Do not use "Cash Pickup", it is not allowed for intra-India transfers.
PS: Please share your XOOM coupon codes with fellow members. The previous code "webxoomremit" is expired and not working.

i heard bank transfer is possible only if you have an individual paypal account
