Got indexed in Google under 30 minutes

Yesterday,I had created a new tech blog.It was a new .info blog.I used wordpress for it.

My friend is an expert in SEO.He suggested me to create a blog at fanpods.com and post my links.So I registered there and created a blog.On my first post of my blog I just wrote "For all new and latest tech news please visit mywebsite.info".I had hyperlinked mywebsite.info and then pinged the blog in pingler.
After 30 minutes I found my website in google though only 1 url was indexed.

Tips:
You can try this for indexing in google.But you should post your website's url(the website you want to index in google) within first 10 words of your post article.
Because everytime a blogger posts in there blog,a few part of the post is displayed in main page of fanpods.com under current activity.So if you post a url then it will be displayed there and that will help your website to get indexed.

It's not very amazing thing, before few days I have created blog on Blogger, it had been cached within few minutes.

yep... blogs can get index within minutes in Google.

 

I have had very fast index success using Sig Links here on DP..

 

this happens rarely in my opinion and it`s hard to get your site indexed every time so fast

 

Google is omniscient. It knows all, logs all, and lists all.

 

Of course its going to be spidered before external web content, google owns blogger/blogspot.

 

How quickly you get indexed doesn't really matter, what matters is your long term SERPS listings and this comes from regular content updates, high quality content and responsible link building. This in turn will generate revnue for your site.

I agree with you however, I dont think that was the OP's point. He was just trying to communicate that he got indexed pretty fast. Good job op!

 

how can one get their pages indexed fast not just one link all the pages of your site?

 

You would need to contact the OP's expert friend I guess.

 

I also experience same thing, I created blog on blogger and it got index in a few minutes but the following day I posted new article and I didn't get same time of indexing.

Actually such a blog site can be index even within 10 to 15 minutes but if you do a good fast optimization for your blog. Social bookmarking and forum posting will done a great work for that.

 

It's great that you got your site indexed so fast, but there are some things you could have done to turn that first index into a page 1 ranking:

1. focused on a keyword with 3 or more sites with PR 0 on SERPs
2. Had your site built with CSS, and had the keyword in H1, Title, at least one interlink with keyword in anchor, and maybe 100+ words of content

Then you'd be on here saying "I was ranked on page 1 in 30 minutes!!!"

 

This is good idea, of course blogs are indexed faster in google, and the technique u are describing is also worthwhile in the form of posting a backlink from one other high profile site back to your site so google can follow your site likn back and get you indexed faster. You can also use other popular blog sites like livejournal, blogger, etc.
