Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

    Hey, the same supervisor, Danielle, i spoke to her last Friday. I tried to catch her this morning. but, she was not logged in. Let me catch her up some time later today or tomorrow morning (IST) time.

    Samser, yes you can do it if you're transferring to your bank account. However if you try to do a cash pickup from a PnB branch you will face a reversal.

    I also requested of 1k on 6th feb, its saying "Deposit in Progress - Final Update: The money is being deposited into the specified bank account."

    Seem they done with transfer, i will get it in account by tomorrow :D

    everybody who's discussing xoom in this thread is most welcome and you are most welcome to do so. In fact, I'd also like to know the complete details. So, could be please stop discussing xoom in this thread, create a new thread and just post a link to that. ... then maybe anybody who's interested can follow that thread and ppl who are not can just continue to vent their frustration over here :)

    Straightway you can notice that none of the replies from PayPal is inline with each other. Only thing is that they are asking us to wait (for a indefinite period). They must be hiding the actual reason behind the delay. It can't be a technical issue. They must have received some notice from RBI and they do not want to share that looking at their company reputation.

    You can also notice that none of the comments made against Anuj post on PayPal blog is published by the moderator. They must be scared doing that.

    Indian must have their own payment processor now. We can't depend on these foreign companies. They have very little concern about us. Can you image if this happened to their US customers?

    I have not received any response from PayPal against my mails. My PayPal earning is US$4000 a month. A verified business account holder since 2006. And they do not bother to reply. We have many Indian developers here. Why cant we jointly develop a Payment processor for India?

    I initiated a xoom transfer last night, and got the money credited this afternoon, it works pretty well, the charges are quite high though

    the code mentioned in above posts will decrease the charges to 0.00 rupees,
    have a look at the previous posts(we have fought yesterday and I don't want to fight now)........

    I guess even though PayPal indulges in some undesirable and not proper practices like they just did, any new company wouldn't be able to capture the market so easily. Just look at Alertpay and all other service providers. They are still facing a tough time capturing the market. PayPal's already a well established company. EVery min they add millions of new customers. I gotta be honest. I used PayPal for last 1 year and never had any problems as long as I followed their directions and policies. Also just imagine that after 2 days or 3 days your money just pops up into your accounts and then there's no problem for another years time. Then we'd be loving PayPal for that. So who will change their provider just because there was a problem for 12 days out of the 365 days in a year??

    they wont allow because it suppose to work for other nation to india transfer.
    so u can't withdraw paypal to bank using that method
