    They ask for SWIFT code while the Indian banks uses IFSC code. Can we open account in head office of SBI and get SWIFT code to use with MB?

    1. go to xoom.com
    2. setup ur account if you dont have one already
    3. initiate a transfer to your bank account (you'll need to add bank account information etc.) or for cash pickup
    4. in the box for the coupon code enter "webxoomremit"


    The coupon will cause the fees for transfer to be removed.

    Any update about bank transfer? I tried to withdraw tomorrow and now in PayPal it shows completed. But still didn't got them in my bank account (HDFC Bank).

    I have withdrawn the money on 30th which is not in the bank yet. Even paypal shows it is completed. But it has not reached the bank yet. Where is the money????????

    Bank is asking us for the UTR number for tracking but Paypal is not ready to give that.

    No one can help it.

    Call them, put a blame on them that they cannot take off your money, since you do have the full rights to own your money and get it transferred.
    You expect an action within 24hours else you'll take legal actions.
    Do that and let me know updates.
    I would have done so, if this had happened to me.

    I got cash to my payoneer USA virtual account. Because it's easy to withdraw money fast than normal indian bank account with a low charge! Today I got it.

    Here is an update from me.

    I made a call & spoke to senior supervisor.

    Q: Whats happening at the moment? Why reversals are done?
    A: PayPal has recently changed their policy "No to allow personal payments to and from India".

    Q: But, out account is business type, payments made using services option, invoices raised.
    A: I do apologize for inconvenience. This shouldn't have happened to you. But, We do some problem with our system. This is being attended by our Engineers

    Q: How long does it take to get resolved?
    A: We do not have exact timeframe at the moment.

    Q: Whats the solution to reversals?
    A: Please ask your customers/buyers to make the payment again and this shouldn't be an issue now

    Q: Does this mean, the issue is resolved, so, when my buyers make the payment now, reversals will not happen again? I do not want to waste my customers/buyers time again & again?
    A: The issue is being attended by our engineers. Please ask your buyers to make the payment.

    Q: How can i ask my customers/buyers to make payment again without any confirmation "the issue is fixed"? If the issue is not fixed, the system is again going to reverse the payments. isn't it? can you assure, the reversal will not happen if our customers make the payment now
    A: We can't give any assurance on this at the moment. However, please ask your buyers/customers to make the payment.

    Q: We have initiated couple of withdrawls 8 days back. We yet to receive the payments? Any idea when we will receive the funds?
    A: Normally, it is 3-5 days, maximum 14 days. This time, we request you to wait for 14 days. If you do not receive the funds in 14 days, please call us back, we can initiate trace route.

    Q: I have heard around Internet that PayPal India has some problems with Reserve Bank of India?
    A: I am sorry. I do not have much information in this regard. But, we received an update "PayPal policy changed not to allow Personal payments"

    Q: We did not receive email notification or any update in policy updates in the website. Its shame that the policy changed without any prior notification & it is totally unprofessional.
    A: We are sorry for this inconvenience. I can say that we sent an email notification.

    Q: I did not receive any email in this regard. When did you send it?
    A: Some time back.

    Q: When exactly? You should have logging to trace this out?
    A: We did send an email notification. If you want, we can forward the copy of that email.

    Q: Please send it now while i am on the call
    A: Sorry sir. I will request my team to send the copy of the message. I do not have that at the moment with me.

    Called paypal today, call landed in a mexican call center, the lady who spoke to me is completely ignorant about the issue, i asked for a team leader to address the issue, and she some how managed to find out the e-mail sent by paypal to all of us, she read it non stop without even minding my shouting! :) but she told that the money isn't lost and its safe some where (some secret place which she only knows, ;) ) , just hope for the best guys, nothing to panic!

    They are literally playing a blame game here. As, the above conversation says that the withdrawal is working fine but there official blog says that in India it is suspended. Whom to trust?..............:rolleyes:

    i saw that after 28th jan the bank withdrawl is not completed,but i withdraw my balance to hdfc bank on 27 jan,but still i cannot receive the money?
