    My balance shows -$50. What shall I do atm? Already a few of my clients aren't responding. More than $300 to be claimed. I'm really worried a lot :(

    I went through this whole mess. Just read about this thread now... man i was so confused at the way everything was sent back.

    Wrote to them with my paypal reversal problem.

    Today I got a mail back that we will be unable to withdraw the money in our accounts to Indian banks.
    Isnt Paisapay a part of paypal ? I mean ebay owns paypal right ? and in India ebay uses paisapay, which is equal to paypal.. Since paisapay works within india cant they allow transactions thourgh their sister company !

    Yes it is true that ebay is the owner of Paypal but I think paisapay can be used for only physical products,
    copy/paste from ebay website

    I just now called paypal and had a chat with the customer service guy. He told that there is some internal problems with them which is affecting the transactions and not due to any issue with RBI. He also told that this problem could be solved by Wed and our money will be in our local bank accounts by Wed (most possibly). The payment reversal problem will also be solved by the end of this week and the accounts should work normally as before, he added.

    He apologized and requested to b patient and assured that all our money is safe and will be recovered without any loss.. :D

    But it is really unprofessional way that PayPal has handled this issue. They have not yet posted any further updates on their official blog and still sending copy/paste messages for e-mails..and conflicting messages too.

    I request everybody to vote for the following Digg news about this issue as our user @Azkaban has pointed out..
    ========
    The most sane thing we should do is to promote this thread on Digg.

    If all those replying here can help, then the Digg story can be on their homepage.
    It may even get noticed by Google for the keyword "Paypal India"

    That can alarm the paypal guys and force them to take fast action about it.

    Here is the story (too bad to see only 31 votes for it, even if the thread nears 2500 replies)

    @ifreakz

    I am waiting for your call to PayPal..Atleast we can know what is the current status..Also ask them whether the issue is related with Reserve Bank of India...

    Before calling them, I think we can plan the questions, so that we can obtain maximum information from Paypal..

    @ifreakz

    1. what is the current status ??
    2. When can we expect this issue to be resolved (Time frame)
    3. Is this issue related with Indian Banking System?? if so is the Reserve Bank of India involved ??
    4. About negative balance in Paypal account
    5. Money not yet reached Indian banks for Status "Completed" transfers.
    6. Who is holding the money..For some users it has been refunded to sender..but not to some..

    7. About Paypal not yet providing an official notification...What is the reason??
    8. About official blog post stating that only personal payments are affected, but all payments are getting affected.

    They will not reveal everything...but this will elicit some response from Paypal from which we can judge..

    I will add to and edit this list of questions as it comes to my mind...
