Paypal to Xoom... Please help

Hello,

I have a Paypal Account with about USD 500 in it.
I am in very bad need of money & want to withdraw it thorugh Xoom.Com

Please inform how can I withdraw. I recently tried to withdraw it from sending Paypal to xoom transfer but it was cancelled.

Please help...

 

Why it was cancelled what error they told about it?

 

don't know why they cancelled it. there was no reason mentioned.... below is the email i received after cancellation from xoom -:


After careful review, the Xoom Customer Verification Team has canceled your recent Xoom money transfer X06186565xxxxxxx. You have not been charged for this transaction.

If you would like to speak to someone on the Xoom Customer Verification Team about this decision, you may contact us by sending an email to: .

Please include a valid phone number and the best time to call and we will usually contact you within 24 hours.

 

contact them and ask them why they cancelled this transaction - as they will be the best people to help you in this case - and here you could just speculate the findings...

Contact Xoom for reason. So please call them. I think that's due to the recent PayPal issue.

 

Any update ? Mine got cancelled too.

 

I think you cannot transfer money using your Indian Paypal account, coz xoom wont allow transfers within same country, AFAIK

 

But i've done transfers with Xoom, they only allow Bank Transfer intra-country.

 

Do you have a Personal account of PayPal? That may be the reason, though it's my personal view and not mean to hurt anyone.

Call their US number with Skype, it's FREE +1-877-815-1531

This is exact reason, we have tried all these services long time ago when Paypal was not giving direct bank transfers....

and all of such remittance company gave same reason you can not transfer within india...

 

By the way where you from? if you send the paypal to Xoom to your own self then I guess it is not applicable. I have tried it before and it was cancelled to.

I contacted Xoom why my transaction was cancelled and this is the email I got below :-

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for choosing Xoom to send your money transfer!

Unfortunately, we have refunded this transaction, as the intended money transfer has been identified as Intra-India, and the indicated disbursement is not permissible by Indian law.

@sbe, what disbursement method did you use ?

 

Yes, otherwise Bank Transfer is allowed intra-country. I myself transferred last year couple of times.

 

What type of transfer you have doen you cant do cash pickup from Indian paypal to India. But you can have a bank transfer to your account from Indian Paypal, I have doen it many times.

 

You can withdraw from your indian paypal account to Indian bank account but you cannot pickup the cash

 

can we withdraw from my own paypal to my own bank using xoom ?
